Classrooms
In order to create the best possible learning environment, students in any program at MTC are asked to conduct themselves in a manner that shows mutual respect for learning, for classmates, and for instructors. To encourage this kind of respect, MTC provides the following suggestions for classroom conduct:
Please turn off cell phones and other electronic devices.
Please do not bring children to class.
Please pick up after yourself if you eat or drink in the classroom.
Instructors have the right to modify these guidelines according to their own classroom needs.
Kitchen
The kitchen, refridgerator, silverwear and utensils are available to use free of charge for anybody enrolled in a program at MTC. Coffee is also available for free throughout the day for both students and vistors. We only ask that you leave this space in the condition you found it.
Copier
The large copier in the main hall is for MTC use only. Program coordinators are issued a “copy code” that allows them to make a predetermined number of copies.
Patio
Students, staff, and their families are encouraged to use the patio, picnic tables, and chairs located at the rear entrance of the college. The fire pit may be used for college related events and can be reserved through the receptionist. We only ask that you leave this space in the condition you found it.
Bulletin Boards
There are several bulletin boards located throughout the building. Each one has a designated purpose. Please consult with the college receptionist to ensure that your post is in the correct location. Unapproved postings may be removed at the discression of college staff.
